Job Summary

As a CyberArk Account Executive (AE), you will join a high-performing cyber security sales team dedicated to expanding the CyberArk federal government sector footprint in Canberra. In this role, you will work closely with key anchor departments within the government, establishing strong partnerships and understanding their unique needs. You will also be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to expand CyberArk’s presence into additional government departments, driving broader adoption and long-term growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in high-value solution selling within a Software-as-a-Service environment.

Must Have

  • Develop and execute against a territory plan within Canberra’s federal government sector
  • Leverage established and trusted relationships within public sector customers and partners
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector’s model, organizational structures, business processes and financial structure
  • Demonstrate the ability to leverage CyberArk's portfolio of products and services
  • Know strengths and weaknesses of key competitors
  • Work with business partners in the wider eco-system of SI partners and advisory firms
  • Track record of success in identifying, cultivating and closing high value deals within public sector
  • 15+ years of key accounts experience in quota carrying B2B software sales
  • Experience selling into Public Sector
  • Strong customer centricity and success oriented sales mentality
  • Considered a knowledgeable expert in given field by company and customer
  • Organised, efficient and able to maintain high level of production while also demonstrating process and administrative excellence
  • Experience using a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills

  • Develop and execute against a territory plan within the Canberra’s federal government sector to drive upsell, cross sell and acquisition opportunities
  • Leverage on established and trusted relationships within the public sector customers and partners, from the C-level to the operational level, gaining a deep understanding of their unique business needs within their vertical.
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector’s model, organizational structures, business processes and financial structure.
  • Demonstrate the ability to leverage CyberArk's portfolio of products and services to change the playing field against our competition.
  • Know strengths and weaknesses of key competitors and using this knowledge to your advantage during a sales cycle.
  • Work with business partners in the wider eco-system of SI partners and advisory firms.

Qualifications

  • Track record of success in identifying, cultivating and closing high value deals within public sector
  • 15+ years of key accounts experience in quota carrying B2B software sales with demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding targets or combination of experience, education and superior performance
  • Experience selling into Public Sector is required
  • SaaS, IAM or Cyber Security solution sales experience is an advantage
  • Strong customer centricity and success oriented sales mentality
  • Considered a knowledgeable expert in given field by company and customer
  • Organised, efficient and able to maintain high level of production while also demonstrating process and administrative excellence - experience using a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
