Senior LCC Operator (Project Based)

Advanced Systems Group LLC is seeking experienced Senior LCC Operators to join their high-performing team supporting the Client’s Live Control Center operations. The Senior LCC Operator monitors and protects live streaming events at scale, ensuring optimal device playback, service stability, and CDN performance during high-visibility live programming. This role is crucial for maintaining the health and reliability of complex streaming pipelines and driving real-time incident response for globally broadcast events, often involving flexible schedules.

Must Have

Advanced Systems Group LLC is seeking experienced Senior LCC Operators to join our high-performing team supporting the Client’s Live Control Center operations. The Senior LCC Operator is a seasoned technical operator who monitors and protects live streaming events at scale, ensuring optimal device playback, service stability, and CDN performance during high-visibility live programming. This role plays a key part in maintaining the health and reliability of complex streaming pipelines and driving real-time incident response for globally broadcast events.

This position is part of our Flex Workforce.

As a Flex team member, you will support a variety of leading media and technology clients on a project-to-project basis. Work may shift in cadence, length, and scope depending on client needs. This model provides exposure to top-tier streaming environments along with the opportunity to deepen your operational and technical expertise across multiple assignments.

Specific schedules will vary by project and client engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Independently operate and monitor complex live streaming events, ensuring service health and validating user experience across multiple platforms.
• Utilize Client’s monitoring tools to detect, troubleshoot, and escalate issues across the end-to-end streaming pipeline.
• Lead incident response and management during live events, coordinating with engineering and operations teams to drive swift resolution.
• Conduct root cause analyses and document findings in detailed post-incident reviews.
• Develop, maintain, and improve operational runbooks and Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs) in collaboration with LCC Operations Leads.
• Oversee event handoffs, ensuring smooth transitions between operational shifts and teams.
• Supervise and mentor Junior Operators, providing guidance on best practices and operational excellence.
• Communicate effectively under pressure, maintaining clear and concise updates throughout live events.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Hands on experience in live streaming operations supporting high scale events.
• Experience in environments such as Master Control, NOC, or TOC may be helpful, but applicants must also have direct experience with streaming delivery and monitoring workflows.
• Strong technical understanding of streaming pipelines, including encoder to origin delivery, CDN behavior, manifest structure, segment delivery, ABR logic, and device playback impacts.
• Proven ability to manage real-time incident response, including detection, triage, cross-team coordination, and timely escalation.
• Experience working with streaming monitoring systems, including dashboards, device validation tools, and telemetry-based alerting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise updates during high-pressure events.
• Demonstrated experience creating, maintaining, or improving operational documentation such as runbooks, SOPs, and incident reports.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently while supporting and guiding junior operators.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for live event operations.

Compensation:

This project-based role offers an hourly pay rate of $85/Hour.
