Technical Project Manager

Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) is seeking a Senior Broadcast Project Manager to lead large-scale audiovisual and broadcast system integration projects. This hybrid role in the New York/New Jersey/Tri-State area involves providing senior project leadership, coordinating complex installations, managing client budgets, leading vendor bidding, and ensuring quality assurance. The manager will deliver progress reports, lead meetings, and proactively identify risks to ensure project success.

Must Have

• Provide senior project leadership for complex audiovisual and broadcast system installations
• Deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to stakeholders
• Lead meetings and workshops necessary to deliver the project
• Support the client team to establish baseline project budgets and implement cost control procedures
• Take senior responsibility for budget control and reconciliation
• Lead the vendor bidding process with a senior perspective
• Coordinate the output of the engineering design team
• Proactively identify risks and offer advanced solutions
• Ensure coordination of AV and broadcast requirements aligns with building completion schedule
• Conduct regular site walks to ensure ASG project and client standards are surpassed
• Minimum 10 years of relevant project management work experience, with significant experience in managing large-scale broadcast projects
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in leading large teams and complex projects
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Excellent working knowledge of G Suite, SmartSheet, and MS Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Ability to commute to client sites in the New York City area
• Ability to travel up to 75%

About The Role

Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking a Senior Broadcast Project Manager to join our high-performing team and oversee large-scale audiovisual and broadcast system integration projects. This role requires a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in broadcast engineering, capable of steering complex projects to success.

This role is open to candidates located in the New York/New Jersey/Tri-State area. This hybrid role will work on-site from client sites throughout the New York/New Jersey/Tri-State area on an as-needed basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Provide senior project leadership for the successful coordination and delivery of complex audiovisual and broadcast system installations.
• Deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to key stakeholders and partners as required.
• Lead meetings and workshops necessary to deliver the project.
• Assist and mentor other project managers as assigned.

• Client Management:
• Support the client team to establish baseline project budgets and implement cost control procedures.
• Take senior responsibility for budget control and reconciliation.
• Lead the vendor bidding process with a senior perspective, enhancing vendor selection and negotiations.

• Resource Allocation:
• Coordinate the output of the engineering design team with a focus on meeting advanced technical requirements.
• Proactively identify risks and offer advanced solutions to ensure project deliverables are met.

• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that coordination of AV and broadcast requirements aligns with the building completion schedule at a senior management level.
• Conduct regular site walks to ensure ASG project and client standards are not just met but surpassed.

Requirements:

• A formal qualification in Architecture, Construction, Entertainment, Business, or a related field and/or a certification/degree in Project Management.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant project management work experience, with significant experience in managing large-scale broadcast projects.
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in leading large teams and complex projects.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of G Suite, SmartSheet, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to commute to client sites in the New York City area.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Compensation & Benefits:

This full-time role offers a salary of $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience.
