We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to lead our analytics efforts in the dynamic world of in-game advertising. As a Data Platform Analyst, you’ll not only work with data, using it to enhance performance and revenue, but also manage and mentor a team of analysts, helping them to grow and ultimately deliver their best work. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including ad operations, sales, product management, data engineering, development, and game production. Your role will involve turning complex data into clear insights, improving workflows, and developing innovative, data-driven solutions using the latest technologies. In this role you will
- Lead a high-performing analytics team focused on ad monetization and data infrastructure.
- Define team goals, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support individual growth through mentoring, feedback, and tailored development plans, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and performance.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews, while proactively closing skill gaps where necessary.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, ad ops, UA, and leadership.
- Contribute to team structure and succession planning.
- Create an environment where knowledge-sharing, challenging ideas, and autonomy thrive.
- Evolve a scalable, reliable, cost-efficient data infrastructure to ensure high data quality and ease of access.
- Build and maintain clean data pipelines and internal tools that reduce manual work, minimize errors, and support at-scale optimization.
- Design, prototype, and deploy ML models for ad monetization (e.g., eCPM prediction, user segmentation), watching over the full lifecycle, from research to production and monitoring.
- Support backend development to accelerate workflows, and mentor team members in doing the same.
- Develop robust experimentation frameworks and conduct analyses to support revenue growth and optimization of advertising product.
- Communicate insights clearly, challenge outdated practices, and lead pragmatic improvements.
- Ensure tools, dashboards, and reporting systems are intuitive, impactful, and widely adopted.
What we’re looking for
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with an ability to understand data and identify key trends.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis, particularly of SQL and visualization libraries in R or Python.
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
- Able to work efficiently in an ever-changing environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Familiar with data tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Your experience
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis or data science, ideally in mobile gaming, ad tech, or related fields. You should know how to use data to help with business decisions.
- Experience managing people.
- Experience working with teams from different departments.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and monitoring.
