We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to support our EMEA Market Unit (as well as globally) as part of our Group Legal team. The commercial legal team comprises 5-7 independent counsels supporting customer engagements globally. It is a global team with a few lawyers working out of the US and much of the team in Europe. The team is responsible for providing legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters, with the main focus on software as a service contracts with our customers, suppliers and partners.
Our platform, SimCorp One, is one of the world's leading investment management solutions used globally by international financial institutions and equity funds.
As our new Senior Legal Counsel, your focus will be to support our sales teams in negotiating complex IT contracts with a main focus on cloud, IP and business services, including legal research and legal advice regarding regulatory requirements for our client base. You will work directly with the management and business, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals.
