Job Description

This Senior Logistics Specialist role involves overseeing order execution, managing third-party logistics operations, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Key responsibilities include monitoring product expiry, updating logistics information, and analyzing costs. The specialist will also manage SAP system interfaces, support master data, and provide operational reports. Collaboration with sales and participation in quality improvement projects are essential. A bachelor's degree, logistics knowledge, ERP/WMS familiarity, and fluent English are required.
Must have:
  • Initiate and supervise order execution for timely product dispatch.
  • Monitor third-party logistics outbound management, ensuring SOP adherence and system consistency.
  • Participate in and monitor third-party logistics inventory, conducting cycle counts for 100% accuracy.
  • Monitor product expiry dates, promptly reporting nearing expiry or unacceptable items.
  • Ensure timely logistics information updates for sales and customers, promoting automation.
  • Complete monthly third-party logistics KPI summaries, analyzing unmet targets and planning improvements.
  • Familiarize with company processes, ensuring consistency in third-party logistics operations.
  • Perform cost analysis and management, summarizing monthly logistics expenses for adjustments.
  • Maintain good communication with sales, handling feedback to achieve logistics performance.
  • Monitor SAP and third-party warehousing system interface, resolving errors and maintaining consistency.
  • Handle manual SAP operations accurately, reviewing regularly for accurate month-end inventory.
  • Support SAP master data and logistics info updates, enabling system to support business changes.
  • Provide timely and accurate weekly/monthly logistics operation reports to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate on direct supply projects, managing third-party logistics performance, costs, and risks.
  • Participate in quality and safety projects to enhance third-party logistics providers.
  • Participate in planning third-party logistics service quality improvement and cost savings.

Job Details

Main Responsibilities:

1. Initiate and supervise order execution to ensure timely dispatch of finished products.

2. Monitor third-party logistics providers' finished product outbound management, strictly adhering to standard operating procedures to ensure consistency among orders, physical goods, and systems.

3. Participate in and monitor third-party logistics providers' finished product inventory management, conducting regular cycle counts to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.

4. Monitor the expiry dates of inventory products and promptly report products nearing expiry or unacceptable to distributors.

5. Ensure timely updates of logistics information to provide accurate information to sales personnel and customers, promoting the transformation of transporter information feedback towards intelligence and automation for more accurate and timely grasp of transport information.

6. Complete monthly summaries of third-party logistics provider operational KPIs on time, analyzing unmet targets and formulating improvement measures.

7. Be familiar with all company and operation-related processes and ensure consistency in third-party logistics provider operations.

8. Cost analysis and management, analyzing and summarizing monthly logistics costs to identify issues and adjust or provide feedback promptly.

9. Maintain good communication with the sales team at all times, promptly handling feedback from sales to ensure logistics performance is achieved.

10. Responsible for daily monitoring of SAP system and third-party warehousing system interface, promptly handling system errors and maintaining consistency between both systems.

11. Timely and accurately handle manual operations in the SAP system, regularly review system operations to ensure accuracy of month-end inventory in the system.

12. Support the update and maintenance of SAP system master data and logistics-related information, enabling system settings to support logistics and business development changes.

13. Provide weekly and monthly logistics operation reports to relevant departments or teams on time and accurately.

14. Collaborate with the team to support direct supply projects and manage the performance, expenses, and potential risks of third-party logistics providers.

15. Participate in quality and safety-related projects to promote the improvement of third-party logistics providers.

16. Participate in the planning and design of third-party logistics providers' service quality improvement and cost saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Logistics related knowledge
  • Understand ERP software operations, familiar with warehouse management system operation logic
  • Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Statistical analysis ability, good communication and management skills
