Job Description

This leadership role involves overseeing Razer Software organization’s data governance and software compliance initiatives. The Senior Manager will bridge AI product development/engineering and corporate compliance, ensuring software products, big data, and AI systems are trustworthy, compliant, and aligned with business and regulatory standards. They will work closely with engineering teams to project manage AI and data governance implementations while fostering innovation.

Must Have:
  • Lead AI governance at the intersection of product, project management, and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks.
  • Define policies and best practices for ethical AI development, transparency, accountability, and fairness.
  • Partner with Data Compliance and InfoSecurity teams to align AI governance with enterprise data privacy, security, and retention standards.
  • Ensure AI systems respect data minimization, consent, and cross-border data transfer rules.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product managers to embed governance principles into the AI development lifecycle.
  • Provide hands-on guidance on model documentation, explainability, and audit readiness.
  • Conduct AI risk assessments and establish controls for systems with business-critical or regulatory implications.
  • Coordinate with SOX/Internal Audit teams if AI models are used in financial reporting or internal controls.
  • Project Manage joint audits, risk assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Establish dashboards and reporting structures to track AI compliance posture.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, Policy, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in AI governance, compliance, or technology policy.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML development processes, lifecycle management, and emerging AI regulations.
  • Strong understanding of data protection frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, PDPA) and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, legal, compliance).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and policy writing skills.

Education & Experience
