Everlaw is seeking a skilled Senior Manager to lead their Data Operations team, specializing in ediscovery data processing and large-scale data migration. The role involves leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Migration Analysts, developing and implementing scalable data migration strategies, and establishing data governance frameworks. The Senior Manager will collaborate with Engineering, IT, Product, and GTM teams to align migration plans with organizational goals, continuously refine methodologies, and stay updated on data migration tools. This position requires a strategic leader passionate about supporting their team with deep expertise in ediscovery data processing and management, optimizing workflows for efficiency and accuracy, and ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices.
Must Have
- 5+ years in data operations, migration, or management
- 3+ years in a leadership/management role
- Strong knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, cloud technologies
- Expertise in data governance, compliance, security

Job Description
Everlaw is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Data Operations team. Everlaw’s Data Operations team members are experts in handling ediscovery data processing and large-scale data migration projects on behalf of our large and diverse customer base. Ideal candidates for this role are strategic leaders who are passionate about supporting their direct reports, possess a deep expertise in ediscovery data processing and management, and have a keen ability to optimize workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
The Senior Manager of the Data Operations team will work closely with legal teams, litigation support professionals, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the integrity, security, and seamless transfer of sensitive case data across multiple platforms. This individual will also drive process improvements, uphold industry best practices, and ensure compliance with ediscovery and data governance standards.

In your role, you'll...
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Migration Analysts who specialize in transitioning data from a wide range of legal technology tools into Everlaw
- Develop and implement scalable and efficient data migration strategies, ensuring accuracy and completeness and identify potential risks in migration projects
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring high-quality data migration and compliance with industry standards
- Work closely with our Engineering, IT, Product, and GTM teams to align data migration plans with organizational goals
- Continuously refine migration methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay up to date with the latest data migration tools and technologies, recommending solutions to optimize the migration process
- Provide insights and performance reports on migration progress, highlighting key metrics and improvement opportunities
About You
- 5+ years of experience in data operations, data migration, or data management roles preferably in an ediscovery field
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role overseeing data migration teams
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based data migration technologies
- Expertise in data governance, compliance, and security best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data challenges
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in cross-functional environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in ediscovery, data management, or cloud platforms (e.g., Certified E-Discovery Specialist [CEDS], Relativity Certified Administrator [RCA], AWS, Azure, GCP, or project management certifications such as PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma)
- Experience working with large-scale legal and compliance systems, including ediscovery platforms (Relativity, Everlaw, Nuix, OpenText Axcelerate), legal hold and matter management tools, and SaaS-based legal technology solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, or PowerShell for automating data processing, extraction, and transformation in ediscovery workflows
- Expertise in performing collection, processing, and analysis of ESI using industry-leading ediscovery platforms, ensuring defensibility, chain of custody, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

- The expected salary range for this role is between $144,000 and $183,000. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate’s experience and skills. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.
