The financial sector is at a crossroads of two profound transitions: the greening of our economy and the digital revolution within finance. As a Senior Manager Sustainable Finance & Future of Finance, you get the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of both developments. You help financial institutions not only to realize their ESG ambitions, but also to make their finance function future-proof with the help of technology, data, and innovation.

The role of the CFO is fundamentally changing. The finance function must become faster, smarter, and more strategic – with the help of AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making. At the same time, sustainability is no longer a side issue. Banks, insurers, pension funds, and asset managers are increasingly being held accountable for their social role. They must integrate ESG criteria into their strategy, products, processes, and culture.

In this role, you contribute to both transitions. You work with clients on complex issues such as: How do you translate sustainability ambitions into concrete KPIs and reports? How do you set up a finance function that is agile, remains compliant, and adds value? How do you implement new regulations without losing strategic direction?

This is what you will do

As a Senior Manager within our Finance Consulting team:

• Lead projects in the field of sustainable finance and/or future of finance;
• Coach and develop consultants within the team;
• Work in multidisciplinary and often international teams with experts in strategy, technology, risk management, operations, and regulation;
• Contribute to business development and the development of new propositions;
• Inspire clients and colleagues with your vision, leadership, and substantive expertise.

This is where you recognize yourself

• You have a master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field;
• You have experience in the financial sector and, preferably in consulting;
• You have at least 8 years of relevant work experience in:
• either sustainable finance (ESG, regulation, reporting);
• or future of finance (digital transformation, AI, data-driven finance);
• Where you are also motivated to do projects in one of the above topics in which you do not yet have work experience (i.e., sustainable finance if you already have work experience in future of finance and vice versa);
• You have experience managing projects and teams;
• You are proactive, analytically strong, and communicatively skilled;
• You are proficient in business English and Dutch.
