As a Senior Consultant, you will develop and implement plans within a client's environment. You will participate in the delivery of SimCorp Dimension Operations Modules, including configuration, testing, documentation, and training. You will act as a consultant for our customers, effectively handling, coordinating, and escalating issues as needed. This role involves documenting client requirements, designing solutions, customizing configurations, assisting with test strategies, providing training, and continually expanding knowledge of SimCorp Dimension. The responsibilities encompass various aspects of SimCorp Dimension implementations, emphasizing configuration, testing, documentation, and training.
Must have:
  • Experience in the Financial Sector, FinTech, or IT Consulting.
  • Understanding of IT implementation project lifecycle and requirements gathering.
  • Client-facing experience and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, capital markets, and investments.
Good to have:
  • Skills in foreseeing client system requirements and assisting in future proposals.
  • Understanding of middle-/back office day-to-day processing workflows.
  • Detailed understanding of investments lifecycle topics.
  • Technical IT knowledge and experience, such as SQL, XML, XSLT, programming.

Why is the role important to us:

We are seeking an individual to join our Advanced Delivery Center - Accounting & Operations team (IBOR area) in Manila.. The role can either be offered at a Lead or Principal level depending on the level of experiences and skills of the capable candidate.

As a Senior Consultant, you will develop and carry out implementation plans in a client's environment. You will take part in delivery of SimCorp Dimension Operations Modules, including configuration, testing, documentation and giving trainings. You will act as a consultant for our customers and effectively handle, coordinate, and escalate issues as needed.  

What you will be responsible for

Your responsibilities encompass, but are not restricted to:

  • Participate in all aspects of SimCorp Dimension implementations, including configuration, testing, documenting and training  

  • Document client’s requirements and map to SimCorp Dimension functions and processes, identifying process improvements and efficiencies where possible  

  • Design and deliver an overall solution set to meet client requirements, modelling operational workflows around SimCorp Dimension

  • Delivering and customizing standard configuration solutions as well as designing and delivering new configurations  

  • Assist the client in development of overall test strategy and test plans and support the client in the execution of test cases, identifying and resolving issues as they arise

  • Provide configuration and end-user training, allowing the client to maintain SimCorp Dimension and optimize its usage  

  • Constantly expanding your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and the clients' business in order to ensure that clients get the optimal configuration and workflow  

What we value

Your high-quality communication, coordination and interpersonal skills will enable you to direct all activities to planned outcomes. As our preferred candidate, you will have:  

  • Degree/master's within Finance, Economics, Physics, Math, Science or Engineering  

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the Financial Sector, in FinTech or IT Consulting company

  • High level understanding of IT implementation project lifecycle

  • High level understanding of requirements gathering sessions

  • Experience with GAP analysis and new solution design

  • Client-facing experience and ability to manage various stakeholders  

  • Skills in foreseeing client system requirements and assisting in the preparation of future tailored proposals

  • Knowledge of financial instruments and products, capital market and investments topics  

  • Understanding of middle-/back office day-to-day processing workflows  

  • Detailed understanding of investments lifecycle topics: transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement, SWIFT

  • High level of motivation, creativity, and inquisitiveness with a global perspective

  • A focused approach, coupled with motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision

  • High-quality communication skills, especially in virtual collaboration  

  • Fluency in English and other languages such as German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Nordics

  • Technical IT knowledge and experience, such as SQL, XML, XSLT, programming
