Senior Platform Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and extend existing platform infrastructure based on Kubernetes, AWS.
• Deliver the creation of scripts / tools to help streamline the development process.
• Work with backend, frontend, and analytics engineers to define optimal deployments of services on our infrastructure.
• Contribute ideas in a collaborative, supportive team environment.
• Work effectively with a large variety of internal and external customers and game teams around the globe.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ideally 6+ years of professional experience as a Software or Platform Engineer.
• Passionate about working with software engineers and delivering robust platform solutions and developer experience.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud deployment architectures utilizing Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS-based cloud services such as RDS, Elasticsearch, S3, EKS.
• Working understanding of Kafka.
• Solid skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Typescript.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to deliver projects on time.
• Bonus points for experience with Istio, ArgoCD, Atlantis, Azure, GCP and Github Actions.
