Must Have

  • Ability to translate complex customer needs into clear product requirements and deliverables.

Good to Have

  • Working knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related design workflows.
  • Understanding of Information Management principles including ISO 19650 practitioner certification.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk products (e.g. Construction Cloud, Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD) and workflows.
  • Understanding of data management and governance principles.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing without direct authority.
  • Exposure to platform or API-first product development.
  • Proven ability to deliver scalable products with strong product-market fit.

Position Overview

Join Autodesk’s AEC Data team as a Senior Product Manager, where your primary focus will be evolving the Parameters Service to better serve our existing customers and to establish a robust foundation for a new Information Requirements application. This pivotal role will enable Autodesk customers to structure their data consistently, ensuring trust and facilitating seamless communication of requirements across project stakeholders. You will drive the development of solutions that define, manage, and exchange data in the AEC industry, supporting our mission to deliver innovative, user-centric products that shape the future of design and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute a clear product vision for the Parameters Service and Information Requirements application, aligned with Autodesk’s AEC Data Platform strategy and customer needs
  • Customer-Centric Development: Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and requirements. Translate insights into actionable product features that drive value and adoption
  • Roadmap & Delivery: Define and maintain a product roadmap, prioritising initiatives that enhance data consistency, interoperability, and trust. Collaborate with the Product Owner and scrum teams to ensure successful delivery of product milestones
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and other product teams to deliver integrated solutions. Foster strong relationships across the AEC Data Platform, ensuring alignment and effective execution
  • Data Standards & Governance: Champion the adoption of data standards and best practices, supporting customers in structuring and managing information requirements across projects and platforms
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement: Define and monitor key metrics to assess product performance, user engagement, and business impact. Use data-driven insights to iterate and improve the product offering
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation within the AEC data ecosystem

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within enterprise software, data platforms, or AEC/BIM environments
  • Strong understanding of data management, information requirements, and cloud-based SaaS solutions
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product owners, stakeholders) in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex customer needs into clear product requirements and deliverables, and prioritize accordingly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications
