Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to work closely with our development team and drive the delivery of high-quality product increments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the product backlog, lead Agile ceremonies, and ensure smooth, timely execution of sprints while maintaining clear communication with all internal and external partners. Key responsibilities include backlog ownership, agile delivery management, customer collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Must Have
- Own, build, and maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to analyze roadmap initiatives
- Lead all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure development teams understand requirements, priorities, and goals for each sprint
- Supervise sprint progress and remove blockers to support timely delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact between development teams and business units
- Ensure product increments meet acceptance criteria and deliver encouraged value
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues early, increasing when needed
- Proven track record as a Product Owner (3-5 years), Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment
- Solid understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Tried experience working closely with development teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple workstreams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with JIRA or similar Agile management tools
- Proficiency in English

Backlog Ownership & Requirements
- Own, build, and maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog.
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to analyze roadmap initiatives, validate priorities, and ensure alignment between long-term product strategy and sprint-level execution.
- Translate high-level roadmap epics into actionable features and user stories, ensuring technical feasibility and clarity for engineering teams.
- Continuously refine backlog items to ensure clarity and readiness for development.
Agile & Delivery Management
- Lead all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure development teams understand requirements, priorities, and goals for each sprint.
- Supervise sprint progress and remove blockers to support timely delivery.
- Work closely with QA, engineering, and inventive teams to ensure releases meet quality standards.
Customer Collaboration
- Maintain ongoing communication with participants regarding progress, risks, and changes.
- Act as the primary point of contact between development teams and business units.
- Lead expectations by providing clarity into timelines, scope, and delivery stages.
- Present sprint outcomes, product updates, and performance metrics to partners.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure product increments meet acceptance criteria and deliver encouraged value.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues early, increasing when needed.
- Promote and give to continuous improvement across teams and processes.
- Support user testing, release planning, and post-release reviews.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Product Owner (3-5 y), Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Tried experience working closely with development teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in the gaming industry – a plus.
