Job Summary

SurveyMonkey is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive growth strategy, focusing on user expansion and retention. This role involves defining and executing a product roadmap to increase user value, deepen engagement, and solidify SurveyMonkey as a leading feedback solution. The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional team, conduct A/B tests, and be accountable for key metrics like APRU and retention, leveraging analytical skills to understand user behavior and identify product-led growth opportunities.

Must Have

  • Define and lead product growth strategy for user lifecycle moments.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Lead a cross-functional squad for A/B tests and experiments.
  • Accountable for defining, prioritizing, and executing against a roadmap for key metrics (APRU, Upsell rate, Net Revenue Churn, Retention Rate).
  • Develop and refine PQL models.
  • Develop deep understanding of user cohorts, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze experiment results and scale initiatives.
  • 5-7 years of product management experience.
  • Direct experience in Growth, Retention, or Monetization-focused product role.
  • Proven experience defining and building against user engagement/propensity models (like PQLs).
  • Deep analytical skills and ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • Extensive experience in A/B testing and funnel optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate a clear product vision.
  • Ability to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
  • Right to work in Ireland.

What we’re looking for

Are you a product leader obsessed with understanding user behavior and driving measurable results? We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a critical part of our Growth strategy, focusing on user expansion and retention. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap that encourages users to discover more value, deepens their engagement, and solidifies as their go-to feedback solution. We're looking for an analytical, experiment-driven builder who is ready to make a significant impact on our most important business metrics.

What you’ll be working on

  • Define and lead the product growth strategy for key user lifecycle moments, focusing on driving user retention, expansion, and monetization.
  • Identify and champion opportunities to increase customer lifetime value, whether through upselling, cross-selling, or improving subscription attachment.
  • Lead a cross-functional squad to rapidly scope, build, and launch A/B tests and experiments.
  • Be accountable for defining, prioritizing, and executing against a roadmap that moves key metrics like APRU, Upsell rate, Net Revenue Churn, and Retention Rate
  • Develop and refine PQL (Product-Qualified Lead) models to identify users with high expansion potential and trigger automated in-product upgrade paths.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user cohorts, behaviors, and pain points to identify new opportunities for product-led growth (PLG).
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze experiment results, communicate learnings, and scale successful initiatives.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5-7 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping successful products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Direct experience in a Growth, Retention, or Monetization-focused product role.
  • A "builder" mindset with a passion for designing elegant solutions and running rapid experiments.
  • Proven experience defining and building against user engagement/propensity models (like PQLs).
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity, with a proven ability to lead a cross-functional team toward ambitious goals.
  • Deep analytical skills and the ability to make data-informed decisions, with extensive experience in A/B testing and funnel optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate a clear product vision to a wide range of audiences.
