Job Description
As a Product Manager in the GoFood Growth team, you will lead initiatives to boost merchant participation in promotions, enhance merchant promotion performance reporting, and support various promotion structures. Your responsibilities will include defining product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning business and technical stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. You will be instrumental in solving real-world problems, shaping product roadmaps, and building scalable products to drive the growth of the GoFood business, working alongside other Product Managers, Engineering, Designers, BI Analysts, Data Science, Customer Research, Sales, and Business teams.
Must have:
- 4-5 years of product management experience
- Experience in large-scale, user-facing products
- Focus on business-driven growth
- Independent product strategy and roadmap execution
- Understanding of balancing user needs with business goals
- Data-driven decision-making
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving
- Strong communication and influencing skills

About the Role
As our Product Manager in the GoFood Growth team, you’ll lead efforts to increase merchant participation in promotions, improve merchant promotion performance reporting, and support diverse promotion constructs. This role involves defining product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning business and technical stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. You'll get to help solve real-world problems, define product roadmaps, craft product vision, and build products to scale to help grow the GoFood business. You will work alongside other Product Managers, Engineering, Designers, BI Analysts, Data Science, Customer Research, Sales, and Business teams to help Gojek deliver innovative and delightful user experiences.
What You Will Do
- Define and drive the product and feature roadmap through close alignment with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, becoming a key decision-maker for your stream.
- Collaborate with business, sales, engineering, design, and data teams to understand goals, identify opportunities, and translate them into scalable product solutions.
- Lead cross-stream collaboration to deliver high-impact features, ensuring alignment across shared teams and managing dependencies effectively.
- Act as the merchant's advocate by deeply understanding their needs and crafting configurable, user-centric solutions that address their pain points.
- Balance merchant needs with business growth objectives by crafting solutions that enhance merchant participation while driving measurable impact on GoFood’s growth, ensuring both customer satisfaction and business success.
- Own the entire product lifecycle, including gathering requirements, writing specs, creating wireframes, and validating solutions through early feedback and testing.
- Use data-driven insights to monitor feature adoption, measure success, and continuously improve product offerings to maximize merchant engagement.
- Develop and communicate a clear go-to-market strategy for product launches, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and driving adoption.
- 4-5 years of product management experience, ideally working on large-scale, user-facing products with a focus on business-driven growth.
- Strong ability to independently drive product strategy, roadmap creation, and execution, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
- Deep understanding of business goals and how to balance user needs with business growth; ability to align teams towards these objectives.
- A self-supporting, proactive, and eager-to-learn attitude; able to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Expertise in using data to drive decision-making, able to dig into data to discover nuances, define success metrics, and evaluate product performance; prior experience with experimentation is a plus.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions that impact multiple product streams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to prioritize effectively and execute with precision.
