Job Summary

Job Description

Develop the overall product strategy and plan for revenue growth through recommendation offers and machine learning products. Monitor all product KPIs and partner with data scientists to analyze key business metrics to identify opportunities for revenue and ecosystem impact. Develop strategic hypotheses, prioritizing features to evaluate the hypothesis and A/B test the features. Build the strategy and development of product offerings by partnering with legal, engineering, and marketing. Navigate data systems and machine learning pipelines and work with technology teams to integrate and tailor existing machine learning models and create new ones. Ideate and develop zero-to-one consumer-facing features by partnering with Designers. Develop new features for native applications designed to scale for millions of users. Monitor the end-to-end product lifecycle of products, initiatives, and technologies. Use strong communication skills to partner with the engineering team to ensure product development is on track. Participate in architectural and design sessions to create world-class technology products scalable to millions of users and services built on iOS, Android, and Web. Understand technical trade-offs as well as business KPI trade-offs for balancing revenue and user engagement and retention.

Navigate data systems and machine learning pipelines and work with technology teams to integrate and tailor existing machine learning models and create new ones. Ideate and develop zero to one consumer-facing features by partnering with Designers. Develop new features for native applications designed to scale for millions of users. Monitor the end-to-end product lifecycle of products, initiatives, and technologies (including the development and conveyance of the product’s vision through product roadmaps). Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to partner with the engineering team to ensure product development is on track. Participate in architectural and design sessions, business process, and operational discussions to create world-class technology products scalable to millions of users and services built on iOS, Android, and Web. Understand technical trade-offs as well as business KPI trade-off for balancing revenue and user engagement and retention. Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $187,000 - $223,000 per year.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Product Manager, Business Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving developing and implementing product strategy and planning.
 
Must also have experience in the following: 4 years of professional experience handling large volumes (50M+ MAU) of data and performing data queries using querying languages (including SQL), deriving insights from the data, and strategizing future roadmap decisions based on those insights; 3 years of professional experience conceptualizing and product managing direct consumer-facing features (Business to Consumer) built on iOS and Android for a global tech company; 3 years of professional experience creating and implementing A/B tests on large scale (50M+ MAU) consumer-facing iOS and Android products using a hypothesis-driven approach; 3 years of professional experience building zero-to-one consumer-facing core products that deal with marketplace dynamics and network effects; 3 years of professional experience using product management (including collaborating with the design, analytics, and development teams across web and apps) and analyzing data to drive decisions and proficiency using tools and systems to find necessary data (including Excel, Tableau, Advanced Analytical SQL, and A/B testing) and design and ideation tools (including Figma, Sketch, Figjam, or Miro); 3 years of professional experience performing software engineering practices and employing best practices for the full software development life cycle (including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations); 3 years of professional experience working on revenue and growth products with experience in balancing the needs of the business and the users on a mobile-first B2C business with 50M+ MAU; 2 years of professional experience product managing and innovating on in-house built machine learning models on a large scale (50M+ MAU) consumer-facing product (B2C).
