The studio has a highly talented team with no bureaucracy dedicated to crafting thrilling and engaging gaming experiences for players worldwide.

The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for leading the QA team, advancing the QA capability, and testing online slot games for global distribution. The successful QA excels in a collaborative small team environment with a group of talented game designers, mathematicians, artists, audio designers, software engineers, and quality engineers to provide the best gaming experience for our operators and their players.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Utilize scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., Typescript, JavaScript, Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar) to increase test efficiency.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the development workflow.
  • Analyze testing metrics to identify gaps in coverage or inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with game teams to embed quality-first principles into development processes, ensuring exacting standards are maintained from concept to release
  • Design, execute, and refine comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the game, including functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Conduct hands-on manual and exploratory testing to identify, document, and escalate issues, ensuring a high standard of quality for deliverables.
  • Provide actionable feedback on game features and usability to enhance player experience and game performance.
  • Develop tools, frameworks, and workflows that improve QA efficiency and scalability for game teams.
  • Analyze testing metrics to identify gaps in coverage or inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with game teams to embed quality-first principles into development processes, ensuring high standards are maintained from concept to release.
  • Lead the QA community by driving process improvements, innovative testing solutions, and the adoption of best practices across the studio.
  • Mentor and support QA testers at all levels, fostering their professional growth and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Advocate for QA community goals in studio-wide discussions, aligning quality assurance strategies with game and business objectives.
  • Balance the immediate demands of game team testing with long-term improvements for the QA community.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Expert in manual and exploratory testing
  • Experienced with automated testing solutions such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, or similar
  • 5 years of experience in QA with cross-functional teams
  • 3 years on game development teams
  • 2 years of mobile testing experience
  • Strong leadership skills,
  • Ability to work effectively across disciplines while navigating competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
