Job Summary
Pico, a ByteDance company, seeks a Senior Research Engineer in 3D vision to conduct cutting-edge R&D, focusing on 3D digital content creation of human faces and bodies. The role involves transferring advanced technologies to Pico products and exploring new AI-driven products. Responsibilities include 3D face modeling, animation, human body representation (e.g., NeRF, 3D GS, Codec Avatar), and human/face generative models. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python is required, with a preference for candidates with publications in top-tier venues (CVPR, ICCV, SIGGRAPH). The team is dedicated to developing AI technology for 3D data assets and digital content consumption.
Must Have
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in 3D face modeling, animation
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
- Experience with human/face generative models

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $410000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
