The Senior Show Supervisor of Experiential Production at Sphere Entertainment Co. is a critical leadership role responsible for the real-time execution of complex, technology-driven shows. This role ensures guest satisfaction, show integrity, and team performance by integrating operational readiness, technical systems oversight, and premium service delivery. Key responsibilities include acting as on-site operational lead, partnering with technical teams, overseeing daily readiness protocols, managing the atrium experience, supervising staff, and generating operational reports.

  • Monitor atrium operations for system performance and guest experience.
  • Supervise and evaluate actors and show support staff, providing feedback.
  • Generate daily operational reports detailing show integrity and incidents.
  • Oversee inventory of show props, scenic, makeup, costumes, and materials.
  • Ensure performance environment is clean, safe, and visually immersive.
  • Coordinate with security for safety management and crowd control.
  • Facilitate and lead ongoing rehearsals for actors.
  • Minimum 5 years in live event operations, 3+ years in leadership.
  • Expertise in live entertainment logistics and guest experience technologies.
  • Proven success in live operational leadership and crisis management.
  • Strong technical fluency with show control and immersive AV.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Ability to be on feet and actively moving during full shifts.

The Senior Show Supervisor of Experiential Production, a critical leadership role at Sphere, is responsible for orchestrating the real-time execution of complex, technology-driven shows that define the venue’s global reputation. The role directly drives guest satisfaction, show integrity, and team performance in a venue powered by next-generation entertainment technology. Operating with autonomy and authority during live events, this role integrates operational readiness, technical systems oversight, and premium service delivery into a seamless, high-impact experience for thousands of guests per day.

What will you do?

  • Act as on-site operational lead during the atrium experience, resolving escalations, optimizing logistics, and collaborating with technical, stage, and security teams in real-time.
  • Partner with technical, facilities, and stage teams to confirm all show equipment and software systems are operational pre-show.
  • Oversee daily readiness protocols including systems checks, tech equipment staging, and immersive environment quality assurance.
  • Oversee the execution of the atrium experience in the Sphere atrium with a focus on real-time quality assurance and show integrity.
  • Manage experience in collaboration with show control teams, ensuring seamless integration between technology and guest experience delivery.
  • Monitor atrium experience operations during live events to assess system performance and ensure seamless integration between tech and guest experience.
  • Supervise and evaluate actors, and show support staff, by taking notes and providing feedback. Generate daily operational reports and executive briefings detailing show integrity, performance, technical incidents, and guest satisfaction metrics.
  • Oversee inventory and readiness of show props, scenic, makeup, costumes and show support materials, report deficiencies for immediate resolution.
  • Ensure the performance environment is clean, safe, and visually immersive, coordinate with security for safety management and crowd control during egress.
  • Facilitate and lead ongoing rehearsals for actors with a focus on theatrical operations, immersive tech, and Sphere-specific service standards.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in live event operations, with 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role in a high-capacity venue.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing live entertainment or themed attraction logistics with advanced understanding of guest experience technologies.
  • Proven success in live operational leadership, including real-time crisis management, staffing optimization, and guest issue resolution.
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort working with show control interfaces, and immersive AV environments.
  • Background in theatrical production, sports & entertainment, or experiential venues strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate across departments under pressure.

Special Requirements

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, mornings, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 environment.
  • Ability to be on your feet and actively moving in the atrium during full-length shifts.
