Job Summary
Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in San Mateo, CA to work with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of developed software components and systems. The role involves leading Quality Engineering efforts, including automation, functional, regression, Webservices/API testing, and developing test automation frameworks. The engineer will also be responsible for building and maintaining automation tools for web and native iOS applications, integrating testing frameworks with CI/CD, and conducting various types of testing such as security and load testing.
Must Have
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Any), Computer Science, or related field or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience leading Quality Engineering effort
- Experience with automation, functional, regression, Webservices/API testing
- Experience developing Test automation Framework using Java, JavaScript, Selenium WebDriver and TestNg
- Experience performing Rest API/Backend Testing using Postman
- Experience building automation frameworks and tools for web and native iOS applications
- Experience conducting functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and API testing
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Website Automation framework using JavaScript, Cucumber, and WebDriverIO/Selenium
- Experience integrating testing frameworks with CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Docker, Self-Hosted runners, SauceLabs
- Experience performing functional, regression, accessibility, and load testing with relevant stakeholders
- Experience designing test cases and test plans using TestRail and JIRA
