Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for resolving Month-End Close (MEC) issues promptly to ensure accurate financial reporting and support managerial decision-making. They also manage vendor payments, resolve invoicing issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Accurate accounting and asset-related issue resolution are crucial for statutory reporting and compliance. The role involves testing change requests and patches from the Database Administrator (DBA) to ensure system stability. Additionally, the engineer configures values for Year-End Reorganization and handles Business-As-Usual (BAU) requests to maintain efficient financial operations.
Must have:
- Resolve MEC issues for accurate month-end closing and reporting.
- Manage and resolve vendor invoicing and payment issues.
- Address accounting and asset-related issues for compliance.
- Test change requests and patches for system stability.
- Configure GFS values for Year-End Reorganization.
- Handle Business-As-Usual (BAU) requests for efficient operations.
