Senior Software Engineer (Data Service Platform)

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and maintaining the data backbone of our platform;
You'll be responsible for the core data services and APIs that power our entire infrastructure.
• Collaborating with teams across the company;
You'll work closely with multiple departments to build scalable solutions that process billions of data points every day.
• Solving complex technical challenges;
You'll dive into the toughest problems, optimizing performance and debugging issues across the stack to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitoring and optimizing key performance metrics;
You'll track crucial metrics like throughput, and latency to ensure our services consistently exceed expectations.

• You've got deep experience in building and operating scalable platforms;
With 5+ years under your belt, you know what it takes to keep large-scale systems running smoothly.
• You understand the power of small optimizations;
You recognize that even minor tweaks can have a massive impact when dealing with high-traffic environments.
• You're skilled at managing distributed systems;
You're comfortable with the complexities of concurrency, synchronization, and ensuring data consistency across distributed architectures.
• You can communicate complex ideas clearly;
You're able to break down intricate technical concepts and share them effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• You're committed to best practices throughout the development lifecycle;
You bring a strong focus on quality, from coding standards and code reviews to testing and deployment.
• You're fluent in English, both written and spoken;
Clear and effective communication is key in our global team environment.
Bonus points if you've got experience with: Golang, AWS, Kubernetes, Real-time messaging systems (especially NATS), ClickHouse, gRPC
