Senior Software Engineer in Test (Sr SDET)

This role is for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (Sr SDET) to contribute to building and testing applications across various cloud environments and distributed systems.

Must Have

• 5+ years of progressive experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python for writing high-quality automation and framework code.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in building and testing applications deployed across AWS and GCP environments.
• Proven experience testing complex, asynchronous, and stateful distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Demonstrable experience leading and executing performance, scalability, and stress testing initiatives.
• Experience in doing release and upgrade testing.
• Expertise with leading testing and performance frameworks (e.g., PyTest).

Good to Have

• Experience working with Kafka and ElasticSearch is a strong plus.

Required

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python for writing high-quality automation and framework code.
• Cloud Platforms: Mandatory hands-on experience in building and testing applications deployed across AWS and GCP environments.
• Distributed Systems: Proven experience testing complex, asynchronous, and stateful distributed systems and microservices architecture. Experience working with Kafka and ElasticSearch is a strong plus.
• Non-Functional Expertise: Demonstrable experience leading and executing performance, scalability, and stress testing initiatives. Experience in doing release and upgrade testing.
