Job Description

Sitecore is seeking a Solution Engineer to blend technical expertise with strategic storytelling. This role involves helping prospects and partners envision the possibilities with Sitecore’s composable DXP, especially XM Cloud. You will provide technical and strategic support throughout the sales cycle, articulating the value of Sitecore's technology. The position requires a broad technical skillset, business acumen, and the ability to translate customer goals into scalable architectures, tackling complex enterprise solutions.
Must have:
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with new logo prospects, translating their business challenges into tailored Sitecore architecture
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to support every technical aspect of the sales cycle
  • Empower partners during the prospecting phase by guiding them toward impactful solution strategies
  • Design and deliver tailored, customized demonstration scenarios that showcase Sitecore’s capabilities
  • Build and present Proofs of Concept that validate our value proposition and inspire confidence
  • Represent Sitecore at regional events through occasional public speaking engagements
  • Prototype solutions, apply custom styling, and present them with clarity and impact
  • Tackle ad hoc technical tasks as they arise, bringing agility and problem-solving to the forefront
  • Dedicate time to continuous learning, exploring new features, technologies, and platform enhancements
  • Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs with thoughtful, technically sound proposals
Good to have:
  • Hands-on experience with Sitecore, Adobe, Optimizely, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like Command of the Message
  • Experience mentoring or coaching other SEs
  • Exposure to global or multi-region sales environments
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and client requirements
  • Skilled in value-based software demonstrations
  • Capable of resolving complex technical challenges and integrating multiple products
  • Understanding of cross-channel digital marketing technologies
  • Calm and focused under pressure, even when managing multiple opportunities
  • Quick learner, able to absorb and apply large volumes of information rapidly
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented with a balance of independence and collaboration
  • Committed to ongoing professional growth and development
  • Solid experience with Web Content Management, e-commerce, or digital asset management systems
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or Vue
  • Awareness of martech trends, including SaaS and headless content architectures

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Solution Engineer who blends technical expertise with strategic storytelling. In this role, you’ll be a key player in helping prospects and partners envision what’s possible with Sitecore’s composable DXP, especially XM Cloud. Your ability to connect the dots between business needs and technical capabilities will be essential.

You’ll work across the sales cycle, delivering technical and strategic support to internal teams, partners, and clients. Success in this role means not only understanding the technology but also being able to articulate its value in a way that resonates. Whether you’re crafting a demo, leading a discovery session, or presenting at an event, your storytelling will help stakeholders understand how Sitecore can address their challenges and enhance their digital experiences.

This is a role that will challenge you with some of the most complex enterprise solutions in the region. It requires a broad technical skillset, sharp business acumen, and the ability to translate customer goals into compelling, scalable architectures.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Net New Sales Engineer at Sitecore, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical vision for prospects and partners. Your day-to-day will be a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on solutioning, and storytelling through technology.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Proven track record in sales engineering or solution consulting, ideally within enterprise SaaS or composable DXP ecosystems.
  • Experience delivering product demos in martech, CMS, or digital experience platforms.
  • Ability to design and present demos that speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deep understanding of marketing workflows and customer journey mapping.
  • Strong collaboration skills—able to work as a peer with sales teams, not just in a support capacity.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering proofs of concept.
  • Active listening and discovery skills that uncover real business needs.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Technical proficiency in web development, integrations, or cloud platforms.
