Job Description
Sitecore is seeking a forward-thinking AI Engineer to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping intelligent solutions within the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem. This role involves designing, building, and deploying Microsoft Copilot AI agents, experimenting with non-Microsoft AI tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and model training workflows in Microsoft Azure, monitor and optimize Copilot Agent performance, and stay current with the latest AI research and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive, passion for achieving goals, and natural curiosity to learn new technologies to enhance productivity, decision-making, and user engagement.
Must have:
- Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Copilot AI agents.
- Experiment and evaluate non-Microsoft AI tools.
- Gather requirements for AI projects.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize Copilot Agent performance.
- Stay current with AI research and technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft PowerApps / Copilot development.
- 1-2 years of experience in software development using Python.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Good to have:
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with RAG techniques.
- Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI).
- Exposure to vector databases.
- Knowledge of data governance.
- Knowledge of model explainability.
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices.

About the Role/ The Opportunity:
We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping intelligent solutions within the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building AI-powered experiences that enhance productivity, decision-making, and user engagement as well as someone who demonstrates a strong drive and passion for achieving goals and delivering results. Exhibiting a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and explore new technologies, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Copilot Agents. Your contributions will directly impact how users interact with data and automation in their daily workflows.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Copilot AI agents.
- Experiment and evaluate non-Microsoft AI tools, applications and models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for AI projects.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and model training workflows in Microsoft Azure.
- Monitor and optimize Copilot Agent performance in production environments.
- Stay current with the latest AI research and technologies.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft PowerApps / Copilot development.
- 1-2 years of experience in software development using Python.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms for Agent deployment and scaling.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and techniques such as RAG.
- Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) and vector databases.
- Knowledge of data governance, model explainability, and ethical AI practices.
