Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering

This role involves defining and designing automation architecture and solutions for standalone and integrated testing across T24 modules for cloud and on-prem environments. The specialist will design solutions for microservice applications and streaming platforms like Kafka, review business requirements to define test automation approaches, and implement API testing solutions with mocks and stubs. Key responsibilities include defining and implementing CICD integration and DevOps solutions for continuous testing, driving DevOps and test strategies for quality, and designing test data management for complex applications. Collaboration with various teams and proactive issue resolution are essential.

Must Have

• Define automation architecture and solutions for T24 testing.
• Design solutions to test microservice applications and streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Review and analyse business requirements to define test automation approach.
• Design solutions for API testing mocks, stubs, and simulators.
• Define and implement CICD integration and DevOps solutions.
• Drive the overall DevOps and test strategy.
• Design and implement test data management solutions.
• Expertise in Core Java and related concepts.
• Expertise in Test Automation tool chain: Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, Rest Assured.
• Experience in implementing test automation for large T24 implementations and hands-on knowledge of T24.
• Solid understanding of API automation.
• Good understanding of CI CD pipelines and tools like Gitlab, Jenkins.
• Good understanding of containerized environments and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.

Good to Have

• Development experience with Spring boot or similar.
• Very good understanding of best practices, clean code policies, branching strategies, and security scans.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Experience on Kafka streaming platforms like Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ.

Functional Technical

Define automation architecture and solutions for standalone as well as integrated testing for T24 across all modules for cloud and Onprem architecture

Design solution to test microservice applications and streaming platform like Kafka

Review and analyse Business requirements and system specifications to define test automation approach scope and implement it

Design solutions for API testing mocks stubs and simulators needed for test automation

Define and implement the CICD integration and DevOps solutions to ensure continuous testing and execution

Drive the overall DevOps and test strategy to ensure shift left optimize test cycles while maintaining high standards of quality

Design and implement test data management solutions for large and complex application landscapes and their testing cycles

Work collaboratively with various team to achieve goals

Proactively raise issues risks and recommend optimal solutions

Technical

Expertise in Core Java and related concepts

Expertise in Test Automation tool chain Cucumber TestNG Selenium Rest Assured etc

Experience in implementing test automation for large T24 implementations and hands on knowledge of T24 across modules and concepts like COB testing OFS IRIS T24 Outbox

Need to have solid understanding on API automation

Good understanding of CI CD pipelines and tools like Gitlab preferred Jenkins etc

Good understanding of containerized env and techs like Docker Kubernetes

Development experience with hands on exp on Spring boot or similar is preferred

Very good understanding of best practices clean code policies branching strategies and security scans

Experience with cloud platforms like Azurepreferred

Experience on Kafka streaming platforms like Confluent Kafka IBM MQ etc
