Job Description

As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for indirect and corporate procurement across multiple categories including IT, technology, and professional services. This role involves owning and managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing, managing contract performance, and collaborating with stakeholder teams to set indirect sourcing strategies. You will leverage data-driven insights to make sourcing decisions and implement procurement best practices, with an opportunity to support direct hardware contract negotiations and strategic commodity strategies.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement a sourcing strategy across assigned procurement functions.
  • Lead internal business engagement and external supplier relationship management for IT, Software, and Professional Services.
  • Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) and sourcing selection processes.
  • Develop contracting strategy and lead supplier contract negotiations.
  • Lead regular Business Reviews with key suppliers.
  • Proactively manage supplier and indirect category risk, SLAs, and leverage spend.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic supplier relationships, acting as a focal point for issues.
  • Manage supplier performance and report status to internal management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in indirect procurement and/or category management.
  • 5+ years of specific experience in IoT, software and professional services procurement.
  • Demonstrated experience in indirect/services contract, with strong understanding of favorable terms and pricing negotiation.
  • Experience leading end-to-end sourcing, including RFx events, negotiation, supplier selection, and performance management.
Good to have:
  • Experience in procuring indirect services such as professional services, software, etc.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts for hardware procurement.

Job Details

As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for indirect and corporate procurement across multiple categories including IT, technology, professional services, and more. This role will own and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and pricing, manage against contract performance, and collaborate across stakeholder teams to set indirect sourcing strategies. The Senior Sourcing Manager will leverage data-driven insights to own sourcing decisions and implement procurement best practices.

The Senior Sourcing Manager role will also have the opportunity to support direct hardware contract negotiations, supplier management, and setting strategies for strategic commodities.

Responsibilities:

  • Own developing and implementation a sourcing strategy across assigned procurement function, leveraging industry insights and best practices
  • Lead internal business engagement and external supplier relationship management for IT, Software, and Professional Services procurement requirements.
  • Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) and sourcing selection process
  • Develop contracting strategy and lead supplier contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, etc.
  • Lead regular Business Reviews with key suppliers.
  • Proactively manage supplier and indirect category risk, SLAs, and assess data to best leverage spend across the indirect sourcing category.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic supplier relationships and be the focal point for supplier business issues and escalations.
  • Manage supplier performance and report to internal management the status, issues and actions required to maintain deliverables.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in indirect procurement and/or category management, with 5+ years of specific experience in IoT, software and professional services procurement
  • Demonstrated experience in indirect/services contract, with a strong understanding of favorable contracts terms and pricing negotiation strategies
  • Experience leading end-to-end sourcing, including RFx events, negotiation, supplier selection, and supplier performance management
  • Experience in procuring indirect services such as professional services, software, etc strongly preferred
  • Experience in negotiating contracts for hardware procurement a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboratively across multiple stakeholder teams
  • A passion for problem solving and data-driven approach

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
