Job Summary
Power Integrations, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based company specializing in high-performance electronic components for high-voltage power-conversion systems, is seeking a Senior Technician (Electrical Engineering). The role involves supporting system and product development, as well as product definition, with active involvement in circuit development and evaluation of new designs. Responsibilities include providing custom prototypes, test applications, and special builds; evaluating, characterizing, and adapting gate driver designs; and testing and sourcing components. Additional duties encompass setup and optimization of lab infrastructure, CAD design, and automation of test procedures. The company's products enable energy-efficient power supplies for a wide range of electronic devices and enhance efficiency in high-power applications.
Must Have
- Completed education as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering
- Approximately 6+ years of relevant professional experience
- Expertise in assembling and building power electronic circuits
- Proficient in mechanical design using CAD tools (e.g., Alibre)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Good to Have
- Experience in circuit design and PCB layout using CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer)

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Ideally: experience in circuit design and PCB layout using CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
