Senior Wireless Network Engineer

This role involves the full network lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, operation, and optimization. The Senior Wireless Network Engineer will provide support for complex network upgrades and migrations, perform root cause analysis, and diagnose networking problems. Success requires understanding customer business goals, possessing detailed network knowledge, and applying ITIL processes. The role also involves acting as a secondary focal point for complex network problem resolution and introducing new ways of working.

Must Have

• Responsible for the network lifecycle - Network Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation and Optimization
• Provide support for highly complex Network Upgrades and Network Migration activities
• Perform root cause analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems
• Understand customer's business goals and how the network operations support those business goals
• Possess detailed knowledge of customer's network and Proper documentation
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their deployment across the organization
• Introduce new ways of working
• Act as the secondary focal point for highly complex network problem resolution
• Overall experience of 6+ years in Networking domain
• Enterprise Networking and security (Routing, Wireless and Switching protocols, network architecture, connectivity options, network management, remote access, data security, standards and compliance, identity management, log management etc )
• Strong working Knowledge on Public Clouds - MS Azure and AWS
• Extensive experience in working with Cisco routers: 6500, 6800, 7600 and smaller
• Extensive experience in working with Cisco catalyst switches platforms: 6500, 4000 and smaller
• Extensive experience in working with Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K and 2K
• Extensive experience in working with Cisco / Aruba Wireless technologies
• Extensive experience in working with Load balancers - F5 Big-IP and Cisco ACE
• Extensive experience in working with Checkpoint, Cisco and Palo Alto, FortiGate Firewall
• Good working experience on Network Automation and virtualization
• Advanced level Internetworking Troubleshooting experience
• Ability to leverage technical expertise of others
• Ability to identify and analyze complex problems and decompose into actionable and measurable plans

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Overall experience of 6+ years in Networking domain
• Enterprise Networking and security (Routing, Wireless and Switching protocols, network architecture, connectivity options, network management, remote access, data security, standards and compliance, identity management, log management etc )
