Job Description & Summary

What your team will be like

The team dedicated to management consulting with a focus on increasing operational efficiency and procurement optimization is looking for a reinforcement!

Do you want a diverse job that will involve traveling, observing, calculating, streamlining, optimizing, communicating, and wearing both a tie and overalls? Then you're in the right place! We are looking for new consultants for the Operations team.

Who you can rely on

Petr Smutný, as a PwC partner, leads the restructuring department in the Central and Eastern Europe region. He has successfully dedicated over 26 years to this area. He also holds the position of Chairman of the Turnaround Management Association in the Czech Republic.

What your role will be about

Your task will be to help companies streamline their processes, saving them millions annually. How will you do it? Simply.

You will get to know the company inside out, observe how its processes work (and perhaps don't work), and look for areas where time, money, and workforce can be saved.

Prepare for two worlds. In the first, you will be a consultant who discusses corporate processes, strategy, and helps find solutions with top management, CFOs, and CEOs. The second world is time spent in the very guts of companies, in production. Helmets and boots will not be foreign to you. If you want to make decisions about company processes, you must get to know them literally firsthand and talk to workers and foremen. You will connect the company from top to bottom, build trust, look at the company from a different perspective, and participate in projects that will fundamentally change the operation of large companies through small steps.

What you should have

  • University degree (business, economics, and technical fields are an advantage)
  • 3-6 years of experience as a senior consultant
  • Logical, structured, and analytical thinking
  • Communication skills - we meet with different people – both machine operators and top management, whom you need to be able to engage in conversation
  • Interest in the industries our clients operate in - automotive and manufacturing, mining, metallurgy, and logistics
  • Enthusiasm for dynamic work content - we spend most of our time with clients throughout the Czech Republic (80%) and abroad (20%), each project is unique, don't expect stereotypes
  • Good knowledge of Czech, English, German is a big advantage for projects with our German-speaking colleagues
  • Creativity in finding connections and devising solutions
  • Responsibility - we work for company owners with revenues of hundreds of millions annually, so you will be responsible for complex projects and making crucial decisions

What we will please you with

  • Concentrated experience and rapid career growth. It may sound like a cliché, but it really is.
  • Fair salary plus paid overtime.
  • 25 days of paid leave, 3 Wellbeing days, and 2 additional company days off at the end of the year.
  • Top Ultrabook and iPhone with unlimited data.
  • Benefit program with 30,000 - 45,000 points, which you can use for vacation, education, meal vouchers, sports (Multisport card), health... Simply for what you enjoy.
  • Support for your development and education: we offer training in business and digital skills (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, etc.) and many other training and workshops for further development of your personal and professional skills. We cover technical certifications and the time you spend studying them.
  • Opportunity to work at a PwC international branch in the future, for example in the USA, Canada, and others are also in the selection.
  • Extracurricular activities and Away Days (team building, ski weekend, etc.).
  • Buddy system and regular feedback on your work, also consultations with a coach with whom you can discuss your further development and career direction.
