Job Description

Integrant is seeking a Senior/Principal Application Support Engineer. The role involves creating complex T-SQL queries, tracing and fixing data issues, designing stored procedures, functions, and triggers, and performing database operations. Responsibilities also include resolving customer online issues, identifying technical problems with diagnostic tools, and collaborating with development teams for fixes. The position requires 6 years of relevant experience, including hands-on T-SQL, managing SQL jobs, and analyzing query execution plans to fix performance issues, along with experience in production environments and handling sensitive data.

Must Have:

Create complex T-SQL queries for reports
Trace, verify, and fix data issues
Design and implement stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Perform end-of-month database operations
Resolve customer online technical issues
Identify and solve technical issues using diagnostic tools
Follow 24/7 on-call process
Collaborate with development teams for live issue fixes
Perform system sanity checks post-release
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
Experience in production environments handling sensitive data
Ability to create, manage, and run SQL jobs and scheduled tasks
Hands-on T-SQL and query writing experience
Analyze and tune query execution plans for performance
Manage database maintenance plans and backups

Create efficient complex T-SQL queries to create the reports requested by the client
Trace, verify and fix data issues when needed
Ability to design and implement stored procedures, functions, and triggers based on the client’s business requirements
Carry out the end of month database operations
Resolve customers’ online issues in a clear, courteous and straightforward manner
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy with customers
Identify and solve technical issues with a variety of diagnostic tools
Follow up with clients to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
Conducting a knowledge Transfer session with all Operation team in order to enhance their technical skills to meet the customer need
Follow the 24/7 on call process to fit the customer needs
Follow up with development teams in order to provide fixes for live issues
Perform necessary system sanity checks after every release to insure system stability

Requirements

6 years of relevant experience
Proven experience working in production environments and handling sensitive data
Ability to create, manage and run SQL jobs and scheduled tasks
Hands-on experience in T-SQL and writing queries (select, updates, joins, insert, etc.)
Ability to analyze and tune query execution plan and fix performance issues
Ability to manage maintenance plans and backups
