Job Description

The Service Delivery Ops Team Lead will enhance workforce performance and productivity, managing the planning and execution of training development efforts. This role involves ensuring projects adhere to defined processes, quality, budget, and timelines, and overseeing the successful delivery and effectiveness of learning solutions. Responsibilities include complex problem-solving, creating new solutions, managing small teams, and preparing design documents. The lead will also manage the full training development cycle, coordinate project activities, and provide coaching to team members.

  • Manage the training development cycle.
  • Create detailed workplan based on budget and resource plan.
  • Set expectations with team regarding budget and course schedule.
  • Manage development of course content and media requirements.
  • Review training deliverables for completeness, structure, and quality.
  • Manage work effort of team members to maintain scope.
  • Coordinate project activities across disciplines.
  • Manage communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching to team members on process and quality.
  • Report status, identify risks, and recommend mitigation.
  • Provide regular feedback on team performance.

Specialist manages day-to-day planning and execution of multiple training development efforts. They ensure that projects are executed according to defined process, quality, budget, and timelines. Talent Development process Ensure successful delivery of learning solutions and review their effectiveness and applicability.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS - Prefer degree in Instructional Design, Cognitive Psychology, English, Technical Writing, Communications, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum 7- 8 years of working experience in training design and development
  • Practical training/learning industry experience
  • Experience in managing a team of 2-3 people
  • Basic project management experience
  • Critical Thinking
  • Problem Management

Knowledge/Skills Requirements: Required

  • Solid knowledge of instructional design techniques, adult learning theory, and web-based development tools
  • Ability to create high level and detailed designs.
  • Extensive experience in at least two or more instructional approaches (web-based, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led training)
  • Experience in designing digital learning approaches (videos, micro learning, simulations, gamified learning)
  • Strong written communication skills including:
  • Working knowledge of editorial requirements
  • Language and Grammar
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate client SMEs and sponsor discussions to set expectations and ensure appropriate involvement.
  • Extensive experience with several instructional approaches (web-based, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led training)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project)
  • Experience in managing a team size of 2-3 people.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems
  • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
  • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor
  • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
  • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside
  • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
  • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
  • Prepare design documents that meet business requirements
  • Conduct audience and needs analyses to confirm appropriateness of learning objectives (as required).
  • Present course/curriculum designs to stakeholders and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather inputs and finalize.
  • Facilitate content gathering from SMEs to create course designs.
  • Identify learning objectives based on business drivers and performance goals; map course content to appropriate learning objectives.
  • Create mockups/prototypes to support design, ideation (as needed).
  • Manage the training development cycle
  • Create detailed workplan based on budget and resource plan.
  • Set expectations with the team regarding budget and course schedule.
  • Manage development of course content and facilitate media requirements according to project workplan and schedule.
  • Review training deliverables for:
  • completeness, structure, instructional approach, and visualization
  • writing style, compliance to standards, language and grammar
  • functionality and usability (eLearning builds)
  • Manage work effort of team members to maintain scope.
  • Coordinate project activities between all disciplines including media, technology, project management, client onsite or business interlock and delivery teams.
  • Manage communication with client and other stakeholders through the duration of dev. life cycle.
  • Manage team members
  • Provide coaching to team members on process, quality metrics and individual development areas.
  • Report status, identify potential risks and recommendations for mitigation.
  • Provide regular feedback on team performance, suggest action items.
