JOB OVERVIEW
is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Administrator. You will act as the primary technical bridge between Easy Vista (EZVista) and ServiceNow environments, responsible for leading the conversion of ticketing modules, workflows, metadata, attachments, SLAs, and automations. This includes data auditing, mapping, scripting, process re‑engineering, user acceptance, and hand‑off to post‑go‑live support. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in both platforms and understands how to modernize processes rather than simply lift and shift legacy customizations.
Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementation and data migration to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Conduct detailed assessments of the existing Easy Vista environment (data structure, custom workflows, automations, SLAs, integration touchpoints), to develop a structured migration strategy.
- Define field‑level mappings, transformation rules, and migration scope — deciding what to bring over, archive, or redesign based on business value and ServiceNow best practices.
- Move historical data (open & archived tickets, users, groups, attachments) using ServiceNow Import Sets, Transform Maps, MID Server, or API‑based tools — balancing data volume, performance, and relevance.
- Translate outdated Easy Vista automations (e.g. routing, approvals, KB triggers) into equivalent or better ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer/Integration Hub flows, and Service Portal functionalities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders through mapping workshops, impact analysis sessions, UAT facilitation, and governance board participation — aligning ITIL‑based process modernization to new platform capabilities.
- Configure and customize (minimally) ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, attachments, SLA, CMDB references — following ITIL/ServiceNow OOTB best practices to minimize upgrade burden.
- Document technical architecture: data mapping documents, transformation specs, legacy vs target workflows, borderline cases, high‑risk tickets, and exceptions.
- Deliver migration platform in phased deployment waves (e.g. open cases first, then closed/archive data), monitor environment performance, and refine validation scripts or dashboards post‑migration.
- Provide knowledge transfer and define ongoing support strategy: runbooks, post‑go‑live cleanup plans, health checks, retention archiving.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in ServiceNow implementation and data migration, particularly using Import Sets, Transform Maps, MID Server, and scripting (JavaScript/Glide API). ServiceNow
- 3+ years working with Easy Vista Service Manager (or equivalent ITSM tools like Cherwell, Ivanti) — including configuration of Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Service Catalog modules.
- Proven track record of migrating legacy ITSM data into ServiceNow (minimum 50,000 ticket records) with zero overlap, strong data cleanup, performance tuning, and governance.
- Solid grasp of ITIL‑based processes — you can effectively lead process workshops, re‑engineer workflows, and translate them into a rational ServiceNow configuration.
- Experience with at least one ServiceNow module implementation for SLAs, CMDB, Service Catalog, or Change/Incident management.
- Demonstrated ability to engage business stakeholders—translate legacy ticketing schemas to new capability while managing expectations and data scope.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Initiative and drive to do great things
