Job Description

Join Pentair as a Shipping Associate in Moorpark, CA. You will be responsible for picking and preparing orders for shipping, utilizing requisitions and order sheets. Key duties include packing stock, managing inventory, recording shipments, picking and moving orders, sealing and tagging containers, and securing pallets. The role requires operating forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks, along with forklift certification and at least one year of forklift experience. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position.

Must Have:
  • Packing incoming stock away
  • Taking inventory and reporting shortages
  • Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Picking orders as requested by management
  • Ensuring correct shipping information is attached
  • Moving completed orders to shipping area
  • Sealing and tagging containers
  • Confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets
  • Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping
  • Picking, placing, and Loading products by using Forklifts, Carts, and Pallet Jacks
  • At least 1 year of prior forklift experience
  • Forklift certified (stand up forklift and sit-down forklift)
  • Ability to work 2nd shift (2 PM start for 10-12 hours)
  • Ability to work up to 12 hours and on weekends
  • Physical ability for standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 30lbs
  • Wearing steel-toed shoes on the distribution floor

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $19.00-$22.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
