Job Description

Pentair is seeking a Production Technician for its Moorpark, CA team. This role involves assisting in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products through line assembly operations using Lean Manufacturing Methodologies. Key responsibilities include documenting and handling parts, rotating on the line, packing small components, and performing various production operations. The technician must be capable of fine hand manipulation and using a variety of hand tools.
Must Have:
  • High School Degree or Equivalent Preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in production and/or assembly position
  • Responsible for correctly documenting and handling parts
  • Flexibility to rotate on the line
  • Packing small components and packaging operations
  • Capable of performing a variety of production operations
  • Able to use fine hand manipulation
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to create a highly effective team environment
  • Able to use a variety of hand tools (air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches, power hand tools)
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift
  • Steel-toed footwear is required

We have an opportunity for a Production Technician to join our team. You will assist in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products by performing line assembly operations to produce and assemble through Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.

You will:

  • Be responsible for correctly, documenting and handling of parts.
  • Flexibility to rotate on the line.
  • Be packing small components and packaging operations.
  • Must be capable of performing a variety of production operations incidental to the manufacturing of various items or devices produced in the department.
  • Must be able to use fine hand manipulation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent Preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in production and/or assembly position.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to create a highly effective team environment.
  • Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other power hand tools.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
  • Steel-toed footwear is required.

Shift:

  • 1st shift, 4am start time (working 10-12 hour shifts)
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is $19.65/hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
