Job Summary

As a Human Resources Officer at bet365, you will support operations across various locations, managing human resources processes throughout the employee lifecycle. You will be the primary HR contact for the Manchester office, also supporting wider business HR needs. Key tasks include strengthening local stakeholder relationships, processing absence, generating offers, and updating staff records. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong administrative and communication skills.

Must Have

  • Provide support to operations across various locations
  • Work cross-functionally in human resources processes covering all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Be the primary point of contact for HR related queries at Manchester offices
  • Support the HR needs of the wider business across multiple locations
  • Strengthen established relationships with local stakeholders
  • Provide support with absence processing
  • Generate offers of employment
  • Process staff updates
  • Handle HR queries promptly with actions recorded
  • Process new starter documentation and complete right to work checks in line with statutory requirements
  • Ensure references and verification checks are carried out and recorded according to internal policies and procedures
  • Process absence across the business, responding to management queries where necessary
  • Support HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Provide support to stakeholders in addressing employee-related matters
  • Escalate to management when critical issues are identified

Good to Have

  • CIPD level 5 qualification or higher
  • Working knowledge of employment law and practices
  • Hands on approach with experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team across multiple locations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines

Job Description

As a Human Resources Officer, you will provide support to our operations across various locations, working cross-functionally in human resources processes covering all stages of the employee lifecycle.

The Human Resources team is responsible for the lifecycle of our people from application stage to exiting the business and beyond. You will support the delivery of a first-class service to all our stakeholders working together to drive business growth.

Working in the Human Resources team, you will be the primary point of contact for HR related queries at our offices in Manchester, as a member of the UK Shared Services Human Resources team, you will also support the HR needs of the wider business across multiple locations.

Utilising your administrative and communication skills, you will initially focus on strengthening the established relationships with local stakeholders whilst providing support with absence processing, generating offers of employment and processing staff updates.

This is a full-time, on-site position, to allow for the collaborative nature of the role.

Qualifications

  • CIPD level 5 qualification or higher with a working knowledge of employment law and practices is desirable but not essential.
