Assembly Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift

This Assembly Operator role at Pentair involves performing required operations to assemble, test, and package various utility, sump, sewage, and effluent pumps. Key tasks include oil filling, electrical connections, decal application, administering high pot and unit performance tests, final packaging, and conducting in-process quality checks to ensure product standards. You will perform required operations to assemble, test and package all sizes and types of utility, sump, sewage and effluent pumps.

You will:

• Perform assembly operations including: oil fill, electrical connections and decal application to produce a variety of utility type pumps.
• Administer high pot and unit performance tests according to predetermined standards.
• Perform final packaging operations.
• Perform in-process quality checks and correct non-conformances.

Key Requirements:

• 1 years of recent manufacturing experience
• Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs
• Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork environment

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

• 1st shift 5:30am – 2:30pm
• 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm + shift differential
• Mandatory OT required (after shift or on weekend)

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.50. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
