The SME Sales Manager - LATAM position is a strategic role focused on accelerating Awin's growth in the LATAM region by educating and guiding small to medium-sized advertisers on Awin's affiliate marketing platform and managed services. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging prospective advertisers, building strong relationships, and offering tailored solutions to drive performance and business growth. The role involves maintaining a sales pipeline in Salesforce, conducting outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, negotiating, delivering sales presentations, adopting a consultative approach with senior decision-makers, ensuring consistency in proposals, attending client and industry events, engaging in continuous learning, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.

Job Details

Purpose of Position

The SME Sales Manager - LATAM position will play a crucial role in accelerating the growth of Awin’s presence with a strong focus on LATAM. This strategic role focuses on educating and guiding small and medium sized advertisers through the value proposition of Awin’s affiliate marketing platform and managed services. The role involves identifying and engaging prospective advertisers, building strong relationships, and offering tailored solutions that demonstrate the effectiveness of Awin’s platform to drive performance and business growth.

Key Tasks

  • Develop & maintain an accurate Latam and Global prospect/sales pipeline daily of all sales activities, leads and interactions using Salesforce CRM system
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting efforts to identify and engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, and other channels
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and goals, and effectively communicate how our product/service can address their specific requirements
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
  • Deliver persuasive and compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the unique value proposition of our product/service
  • Adopt a consultative & mature approach, engaging with senior decision-makers about strategic market trends, industry progression and online developments
  • Ensure consistency in introductions/proposals to prospects, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling
  • Attend appropriate client and industry, in person and virtual, events to enhance new and existing relationships acting as a point of knowledge and expertise
  • Engage in continuous development and learning opportunities through Awin Academy, webinars, and more
  • Drive and oversee the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to a signed contract and internal handoff

Skills & Expertise 

To be successful you will need to meet the below requirements:

  • Preferred affiliate marketing experience but not required
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills with ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable interacting with clients via telephone and email
  • Results-orientation and drive to maximize both financial and career opportunities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy including all MS Office applications and Salesforce
