Golang Engineer

Ringier Axel Springer is transforming Onet Mail into MailOS, a modern, scalable, cloud-native email platform for millions of users. They seek a Golang Engineer to design and implement robust solutions for complex systems, handling billions of messages, and significantly impacting a product used by millions in Poland. This role involves building a resilient, high-performance service in the public cloud.

Must Have

• Develop scalable Go backend applications
• Collaborate on designing and implementing AWS-based solutions
• Participate in end-to-end projects from requirements to maintenance
• Ensure code security and quality according to best practices
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams
• Minimum 2 years of Go programming experience
• Practical knowledge of AWS
• Ability to work on projects and document solutions
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Communication and teamwork skills

Good to Have

• Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD

This is not just a migration. It is the transformation of one of the largest email services in the region into a modern platform of daily services, based on a scalable, resilient cloud-native architecture.

We are looking for an engineer who:

• is not afraid of complex systems and billions of messages,
• can design solutions that always work – regardless of the load,
• wants to have a real impact on the shape of a product used by millions of Poles.

Your tasks

• Creating and developing scalable backend applications in Go (Golang)
• Collaborating with the team on designing and implementing AWS-based solutions
• Participating in end-to-end projects: from requirements analysis, through implementation, to deployment and maintenance
• Ensuring code security and quality in accordance with best practices
• Collaborating with development, DevOps, and business teams

Our expectations
