Job Description

1000heads is seeking a Social Content Creative for their APAC creative team. This hands-on role involves developing social-first content and campaigns for innovative brands like GitLab and Amazon. Responsibilities include ideating platform-native content, crafting short-form video concepts, writing scripts, and providing creative direction. The ideal candidate lives and breathes internet culture, stays ahead of trends, and collaborates with strategists and client partners to deliver scroll-stopping work. This is a three-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in financial services, tech, or B2B brands
  • Comfort working with production teams or briefing/editing UGC creators
  • A personal TikTok or Instagram feed that shows you know how to engage an audience
Must Have:
  • Ideating platform-native content that feels current, culture-led, and on-brand
  • Crafting short-form video concepts, content series, static and motion ideas for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more
  • Writing scripts, headlines, captions, and collaborating with designers and editors to bring ideas to life
  • Staying ahead of platform trends, memes, and formats and applying those insights to client work
  • Bringing a clear POV on what makes good social content and helping clients push into more creative spaces
  • Working closely with account and strategy teams to shape creative briefs
  • Providing creative direction to junior creatives, editors, and freelance collaborators
  • Presenting work internally and externally with clarity and confidence
  • 6+ years in a creative or content role, ideally at a social or integrated agency
  • Strong copywriting skills and a sharp sense of visual storytelling
  • A solid understanding of content creation workflows, including shoots, edits, and platform publishing
  • Experience working on social-first campaigns for big brands
  • Familiarity with creative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Veo, etc.)
  • A curious mind and collaborative spirit

1000heads is a global social transformation agency, helping brands be more social by design. In APAC, we work with some of the most innovative brands in the world, including GitLab, Amazon, Cisco, and EnergyAustralia. Our work spans creative strategy, social-first campaigns, influencer marketing, and short-form video.

We’re looking for a Social Content Creative to join our APAC creative team. Someone who lives and breathes internet culture, gets excited about crafting standout social ideas, and knows what it takes to turn strategy into scroll-stopping work.

This is a hands-on, ideas-first creative role. You’ll collaborate with creative directors, strategists, editors, and client partners to develop social-first content and campaigns that feel fresh, relevant, and right for the platform.

You’ll lead creative development across several key accounts, support new business efforts, and bring creative rigor to every stage of the content process from brainstorming, scripting and visual storyboarding, to shoot direction and post-production.

This role will begin as a three-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to be extended or converted into a permanent position.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

1. Creative development & execution

  • Ideating platform-native content that feels current, culture-led, and on-brand
