You'll own day-to-day community management, develop trend-based videos for TikTok, and support the Social Marketing Team. This full-time remote role involves partnering with the Head of Social Media, driving community engagement on platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, handling outreach to event organizers, and supporting team operations. The role requires a creative thinker who understands social media trends, with a passion for live experiences.

THE TEAM

Eventbrite’s Social Media team is a nimble group dedicated to developing online content that resonates with both event organizers and attendees. Our mission is to forge authentic connections with our audiences by telling compelling stories that stop scrolls, inspire action, and elevate the perception of Eventbrite as a leading brand.

THE ROLE

As the Social Media Coordinator, you will manage our social media calendars day-to-day, ensuring that all posts run smoothly. In addition to maintaining our existing content engine, you will own day-to-day community management, develop original trend-based videos for Eventbrite’s TikTok account, and support the operations of the Social Marketing Team in other key areas. 

This full-time role is remote and reports to the Head of Social Media & Influencer Marketing

YOU WILL 

  • Partner with the Head of Social Media and Influencer Marketing to develop Evenbrite’s social media content calendars
  • Own day-to-day posting across all social media channels  
  • Drive proactive and reactive community management on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, to build relationships with consumers and event organizers 
  • Develop short trend-based videos for Evenbrite’s TikTok account aimed at growing audience and engagement 
  • Handle outreach to Eventbrite organizers being featured in social media content
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Social Marketing team as needed

THE SKILLSET

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in social media marketing or a related field 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills 
  • A creative thinker and short-form video pro who spots trends early and knows what will resonate on TikTok and Instagram. Note: You must be comfortable occasionally appearing on camera.
  • At least a basic understanding of social media analytics
  • Impeccable judgment around what is appropriate to post online 
  • A true self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
  • A passion for live experiences and sharing them online
  • Bonus: Experience working with Sprinklr and/or CreatorIQ
