Must Have:
  • Deliver and implement comprehensive marketing plans tailored to key consumer segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic alignment and integrated planning.
  • Champion consistent execution of the Consumer Experience Journey, maintaining brand positioning.
  • Oversee marketing activities for product launches, promotions, trade marketing, and media planning.
  • Lead efforts to gather local consumer, market, competition, and trend insights.
  • Cultivate relationships with external agencies and key retail partners, negotiating agreements.
  • Possess 5-10 years of experience in senior marketing roles, ideally in consumer goods, FMCG, or consumer software sectors.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex relationships in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong leadership skills for team development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Philips is excited to offer an excellent career opportunity for a Head of Marketing PH ANZ within our Personal Health team in North Ryde. In this prominent role, you will become a key member of the local Management Team, leading and nurturing a dynamic team of approximately 10 marketers. Your main responsibility will be to direct the creation and execution of localised marketing strategies and plans, leveraging deep consumer insights to enhance our propositions. You will craft and implement a comprehensive 24-month marketing plan focused on key categories and consumer segments, working collaboratively with multi-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals and sales objectives.

As the Head of Marketing - Personal Health ANZ, evaluating the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adapting strategies to align with business priorities will be crucial. Your work will involve close collaboration with various functions across local, regional, and global spectrums.

This role is crucial to fostering consumer focus and managing activities such as demand generation, market research, product positioning, pricing and promotion strategies, trade marketing, merchandising, media, communications, and eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will deliver and implement comprehensive marketing plans tailored to key consumer segments, ensuring alignment with business and sales priorities and leveraging a broad portfolio across various categories to drive maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment through integrated planning, incorporating diverse stakeholder insights. Adapt marketing strategies to consistently meet both local and global business objectives.
  • Champion the consistent execution of the Consumer Experience Journey, maintaining brand positioning and visual identity. Ensure seamless engagement across local touchpoints, effectively driving omni-channel marketing efforts that are both globally strategic and locally impactful.
  • Oversee all marketing activities associated with product launches, promotions, trade marketing, and media planning. Drive effectiveness through continual ROI improvement and optimise campaigns to enhance targeting, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Lead the marketing team's efforts to gather local consumer, market, competition, and trend insights, driving actionable commercial strategies. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and globally relevant insight sharing.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with external agencies and key retail partners, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements, co-branded initiatives, and reviewing performance metrics to enhance shopper experience and boost conversion rates.

  • You possess 5 -10 years of experience in senior marketing roles, ideally within consumer goods, FMCG, or consumer software sectors, demonstrating a well-rounded marketing expertise.
  • You have a proven ability to navigate complex relationships in a global matrix organization, expertly managing partnerships with key retail partners and agencies.
  • Your strong leadership skills are evident in your commitment to continuously upskilling and developing your team to drive success.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in strategic marketing principles.
