We’re currently seeking a Social Media Trend Producer for an exciting, full-time opportunity with one of our social media clients, based in Santa Monica. This is a four-month, on-site project with weekly pay!
In this dynamic role, you’ll be part of a creative and fast-paced content team, identifying, curating, and amplifying the most relevant and timely cultural trends. You’ll work closely with other trend curators and producers to keep audiences engaged with fresh, exciting, and informative content.
Responsibilities:
- Identify emerging trends, cultural moments, and key topics that resonate with the target audience, staying highly responsive to real-time developments.
- Curate and amplify timely, trending, and engaging user-submitted content.
- Supervise and provide guidance to Trend Curators who analyze large volumes of content to detect key moments, trends, and conversations.
- Review and moderate submitted content in real-time to ensure it aligns with audience interests and brand guidelines.
- Offer continuous feedback to Trend Curators to refine content selection and curation processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, moderation, and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve any challenges that arise.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in content curation, trend analysis, or digital media.
- Expertise in short-form video trends, pop culture, and major cultural events.
- Deep understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and Millennials.
- Motivated, proactive, and excellent communicator.
- Strong research and organizational skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong editorial judgment with an understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
- Up-to-date knowledge of pop culture, trends, and current events.
- A collaborative team player who values diverse perspectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, or Media.
- Passion for internet trends, pop culture, and real-time content.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Experience working with short-form content and digital media platforms.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
