The role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of ION's Reference data and Pricing products, which are crucial for financial institutions. This includes simplifying complex processes, streamlining businesses, and delivering competitive advantages across various asset classes and trading lifecycles. The team is expanding, seeking talented individuals for product development in Delhi, focusing on design, implementation, testing, and documentation of current and next-generation products.
Good To Have:
- Experience of automated build and testing utilities such as Jenkins, cpp-unit, Maven, Robot Framework, Docker.
- Experience in C# or HTML-5.
- Exposure to Agile development practices such as Lean and Scrum.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field.
- Financial education a plus.
Must Have:
- Maintain and enhance ION's suite of Reference data and Pricing products.
- Create next-generation reengineered reference data and pricing products and services.
- Design, implement, unit and system test, fix, and prepare documentation for product development.
- Collaborate with other developers, product owners and business analysts focusing on both infrastructure and application development.
- Software development experience in a commercial environment with expert level understanding of OO concepts.
- Knowledge of main design patterns and data structures.
- Expert level experience in core Java.
- Experience in C++.
- Experience with relational databases like Sybase, Oracle, MS-SQL Server and MySQL.
- Fluent spoken and written English.

The ION Reference data and Pricing team is currently accelerating its expansion and is looking to strengthen the product development in Delhi with talented individuals, looking for responsibilities, continuous learning and financial market exposure.
