Key Areas of Responsibility
- Production Job Monitoring & First-Level Support
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support automated data processing jobs in production.
- Provide first-level support for client production jobs and incoming/outgoing files.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Customer Delivery, Operations, Finance, IT) to resolve incidents efficiently.
- Ensure timely execution and quality of daily production cycles.
- Issue Resolution & Process Optimization
- Analyze logs and job failures to identify root causes and propose solutions.
- Assist in identifying and escalating performance or data flow anomalies.
- Support structured testing and validation for newly implemented client workflows.
- Development Support & Learning
- Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.
- Work under the mentorship of senior developers to adopt best coding practices and standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and documentation.
- Create technical documentation, training materials, and user guides as needed.
- Team Collaboration & Flexibility
- Be available to cover peer absences and shift handovers as needed.
- Work well within a standardized, process-driven environment.
- Participate in team reviews and support ongoing system/process improvements.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in software development, data processing, or technical support.
- Flexibility to work from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM US Eastern Time
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with solid time management and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
