Job Description

The Sr. Engineer, Privileged Access Management will be a subject matter expert, driving the design, strategy, and delivery of PAM capabilities. This role involves understanding and addressing security risks with innovative solutions, contributing to Cybersecurity transformation, and providing direction for IAM and PAM functions across the organization, including federation, access management, authentication, authorization, security, and identity data provisioning.
Must Have:
  • 5+ years of Cybersecurity / Information Security experience.
  • 3+ years of strong hands-on architecture, engineering, or operations experience with Privilege Access Management (PAM) products such as BeyondTrust or CyberArk.
  • Experience implementing Privilege Access controls on Linux and Windows servers (SUDO, SSH Keys, Directory, GPO, local admin management).
  • 2 years of writing & managing code in Python, PowerShell, beanshell, c#, or java.
  • Advocate of CI/CD best practices and robust experience with git, jenkins, drone, terraform, ansible, and chef.
  • Experience implementing MFA, SSO, SAML, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) using PING and RSA.
  • Broad understanding of the IAM cybersecurity landscape, including identity management, access management, access governance, and privileged access management.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering in an Agile environment, working closely with product owners and customers.
  • Ability to effectively translate complex technologies, designs, and ideas to simple concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
  • Knowledge/experience with ITSM Ticketing Tool.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Must be flexible to work occasional US daytime hours.

The TU Identity Management team's mission is to protect & enable the Identity Experience (IX) through simple, lightweight, & self-service capabilities.

The Sr. Engineer, Privileged Access Management will be a driven subject matter expert responsible for supporting the overall design, strategy, and delivery of PAM capabilities at TU. As an PAM subject matter expert, this candidate will need to speak credibly to the IAM security landscape, reference architectures, and design patterns while relentlessly pursuing our mission to protect & enable the Identity Experience. This individual will deeply understand the risks in our environment and work to address them with innovative & pragmatic solutions. Additionally, they will play an integral part in the TU Cybersecurity transformation efforts as they relate to Identity & Access Management. This candidate must also be comfortable working in a client-serving model and have proven experience leading and shaping client expectations while possessing a positive, determined, attitude.

You will provide overall implementation and direction into the IAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM) functions across the organization, including federation, access management, authentication & authorization, security and provisioning identity data.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of Cybersecurity / Information Security experience.
  • 3+ years of strong hands-on architecture, engineering, or operations experience with Privilege Access Management (PAM) products such as BeyondTrust or CyberArk
  • Experience implementing Privilege Access controls on a Linux and Windows server such as SUDO, SSH Keys, Directory, GPO, local admin management.
  • 2 years of writing & managing code developed in any of the following languages Python, PowerShell, beanshell, c#, or java.
  • Advocate of CI/CD best practices and robust experience working with technologies such as git, jenkins, drone, terraform, ansible and chef
  • Experience implementing MFA, SSO, SAML and Identity and Access Management (IAM) to end users and applications enterprise-wide utilizing solutions such as PING and RSA.
  • Broad understanding of the IAM cybersecurity landscape including identity management, access management, access governance, and privileged access management capabilities and methodologies.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering in an Agile environment, working closely with product owners and customers.
  • Ability to effectively translate complex technologies, designs, and ideas to simple-to-understand concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
  • Knowledge/experience with ITSM Ticketing Tool
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Must be flexible to work occasional US daytime hours.
