Building a new company in the recession of 2007 was no ordinary task. Yet with passion and foresight, we charted our course, helping to transform the way consumers engage with their phones.
Over the last 17 years, InMobi has built a global Advertising Platform that powers our customers’ growth by helping them engage their audiences and drive real connections.
InMobi has also built a second unicorn, Glance, which is advancing digital consumption and creating a new wave of disruption. Present on 400M devices across India, SEA, Japan and the US – Glance is one of the largest content platforms globally with~200M daily active users.
What is the team like?
InMobi's Supply and Monetization Platform is one of the world's leading ad serving platforms serving 40bn ad requests a day and handling 2+ billion users. Our products help advertisers serve ads optimally, optimize relevance of ads to make the advertiser maximize his ROI, and monitor progress of different advertising campaigns. We handle 140k qps peak traffic.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for solving high-complexity issues at a system / domain / vertical level
- Responsible for resolution/ escalations within his/her area of expertise.
- Using independent judgment in selection of alternative courses of action.
- Innovating new / unique ways to solve known and unknown problems.
What do we expect from you?
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent from a premier institute
- 2-5 years of strong DevOps experience in building massively large-scale distributed internet systems and products

CI/CD Pipeline Expertise: Experience with setting up and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines is essential. Being familiar with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI is a plus.

Infrastructure Automation Understanding scripting languages like Bash or Python for automation is crucial.

Cloud Technologies: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly sought after. This includes experience with cloud services like compute, storage, databases, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Linux Administration: A strong understanding of Linux systems administration is necessary. This includes knowledge of shell scripting, package management, and system configuration.

Version Control: Mastery of Git for version control and collaboration is a must-have for any developer.
- Strong computer fundamentals and problem-solving skills
- Superior organization, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Experience and knowledge of open source software, frameworks and broader cutting edge technologies around server side development in Java and Big Data
- Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast growing and start-up workplace
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in fluid environment
- Provide good attention to details
- Must be excited by challenges surrounding the development of highly scalable & distributed system for building audience targeting capabilities
- Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and scope and priorities

- Experience of the online advertising domain
- Experience of working on massively large-scale data systems in production environments
- Experience of dealing with high QPS critical systems
