Software Engineer

GoDaddy is seeking a full stack software engineer to join their team, focusing on building intuitive tools for small businesses to succeed online. This remote role involves working with web technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React, contributing to GoDaddy's Website + Marketing Suite. Responsibilities include client-side and server-side API development, building scalable products with great user experiences, and leveraging AI-powered coding tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Must Have

• 2+ years building products and services

• Experience with automated testing code and test frameworks

• Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns

Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

As a full-stack engineer, your duties will involve client-side development, as well as server-side API development and integration efforts.

• Real-time application monitoring and performance profiling of our applications.

Your experience should include...

• 2+ years building products and services.
• A strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, React and the underlying standard web technologies.
• Experience with automated testing code and using test frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI coding assistants (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools) to accelerate development, debug code, and explore technical solutions.
• A good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Group 3: $102,000.00 – $153,000.00
• Group 4: $111,000.00 – $167,000.00
