Must Have

Job Description

Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

We're looking for a full stack software engineer who works with web technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React. You will be working on GoDaddy's Website + Marketing Suite including products like our Website Builders, Social and Email Marketing, and Search Engine Optimization tools. As a full-stack engineer, your duties will involve client-side development, as well as server-side API development and integration efforts.

  • Help build highly scalable products that help small businesses succeed online with great user experiences.
  • Work on a remote first team of software engineers, product management, user experience designers and data scientists within a supportive environment where you will have the flexibility to structure your day.
  • Write well-tested, modern JavaScript / TypeScript using frameworks like React, NodeJS and Express.
  • Leverage AI-powered coding tools, including Claude and other AI assistants, to enhance productivity, code quality, and problem-solving approaches.
  • Real-time application monitoring and performance profiling of our applications.

Your experience should include...

  • 2+ years building products and services.
  • A strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, React and the underlying standard web technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing code and using test frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI coding assistants (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools) to accelerate development, debug code, and explore technical solutions.
  • A good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

You might also have...

  • Experience integrating AI APIs or large language models into production applications.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and best practices for working with AI coding tools to maximize code quality and efficiency.
  • Contributed to or managed open-source projects.

GoDaddy's target compensation is determined based on your location and varies based on an individual's qualifications, skills and experience at the time of the offer. For this role, our targeted base pay ranges for new hires in each US Group are:

  • Group 1: $85,500.00 – $128,500.00
  • Group 2: $96,000.00 – $144,000.00
  • Group 3: $102,000.00 – $153,000.00
  • Group 4: $111,000.00 – $167,000.00
