Must Have

Experience in backend programming with Python

THE TEAM

Our mission is to systematically automate and orchestrate range systems at scale, enabling internal teams to operate thousands of servers with high reliability and minimal manual intervention.

We build and maintain the tooling that makes this possible — from provisioning software to monitoring large, distributed environments — ensuring that our ranges run efficiently, predictably, and with strong observability.

THE ROLE

The team is now looking for a Software Engineer. With a broad background in software development, you will be driving technical decisions within the team and taking an active part in the company’s overall architectural and strategic discussions around ensuring scalability and enabling growth. Day-to-day you will be writing code with the team.

HOW WE WORK

Weekly pair/mob programming sessions for alignment and shared decision-making.
Regular demos to stakeholders to gather feedback early.
Pull requests shared in team chat for quick review loops.
Technical decisions discussed and agreed upon in mob sessions.
A dedicated third-line support rotation for daily operational support.

TECH STACK FOCUS

Kubernetes platform with thousands of clusters
Python for backend and general application development
Developing for Linux environments

POSSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain tools that orchestrate and manage thousands of range systems.
Ensure servers can be provisioned, configured, and managed effortlessly, supported by robust internal tooling.
Build and evolve monitoring and observability tools that give real-time insight into software running across all ranges.
Provide release management and regression test environments relied on by many internal teams.
Work closely with hardware-adjacent software (servers, screens, cameras) and Linux-based environments
And of course, playing golf!

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE

Experience in backend programming with Python
Experience in building Kubernetes platforms
Several years of developing for Linux environments
Several years of experience and a highly collaborative mindset.
Great knowledge sharing and have strong abilities in coaching the other team members in order for the team to best solve technical challenges that are presented to them, together.
Experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-based and distributed systems
Understanding of large systems and how different components integrate
