Software Engineer II

Xepelin was born in Chile in 2019 and, since then, we have raised more than USD145 million in equity and USD300 million in asset-backed facilities to boost growth throughout the region, especially in the countries where we currently operate, Chile and Mexico. The last equity round was USD111 million, a record in Chile and one of the largest in Latin America for a FinTech.

Main responsibilities...

• Contribute ideas and participate in defining the technical vision for key platform components.
• Contribute to system and architecture design, with team guidance.
• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of scalable and resilient services.
• Actively participate in hands-on development of critical projects to deliver value to clients.
• Learn and apply technical standards to ensure quality, efficiency, and best practices.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams (product, data, tech, growth, etc.) to solve problems and build solutions.
• Ensure the quality of functionalities delivered to production, guaranteeing their stability and correct operation.
• Provide support and maintain a proactive approach with internal and external users to resolve incidents and gather feedback.

🏆 What do you need to shine?

• 3+ years of experience in production software development.
• Experience developing with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience in event-driven architectures.
• Experience in developing high-quality services and systems.
• Contribute to implementing engineering best practices and optimizing team efficiency.
• Enjoy and excel working in multidisciplinary teams with different levels of experience and contexts.
